Skippered or bareboat

For beginners, or if you want to take advantage of the local knowledge of our staff, Sail-Italy provides experienced bi-lingual local skippers who know the region, its ports, restaurants, sights, history - and can deal with any aspect of the boats.

An opportunity also to learn, both for you and your fellow passengers. Our skippers will be delighted to show you how to sail, navigate and manoeuvre your yacht; how much you do yourself is up to you, subject to the skipper's judgment on making sure everything is safe.

It's also an ideal and inexpensive way to introduce children to the independence of sailing, in warm non-tidal waters.  They can learn too, often very fast without even realising it.

For the more experienced and for those not wishing to be accompanied, the yachts are equipped with GPS, autopilot, VHF, local charts, roller genoa, electric windlass. When you enquire, don't forget to let us know about your level of skill and experience in the space provided, or in your email.
