Location of our bases in Italy

Many of the places where we offer you boats (Naples, Cala Galera, Salivoli, Etrusca Marina) are in Tuscany or elsewhere down the west coast of Italy.

Yachts available from La Spezia, Salivoli, Etrusca Marina, Cala Galera, Sardinia, Naples, Salerno, Vibo Valentia & Sicily

Etrusca Marina is south of Salivoli in the bay of Follonica, Cala Galera is at the southern end of Tuscany, Salivoli is next to Piombino in mid Tuscany, opposite Elba, and Punta Ala is near to Salivoli, but slightly further south.   All these bases are excellent as a starting point for weekends, weeks and longer, exploring the Tuscan archipelago, Elba, Capraia, Giglio, Giannutri, Montecristo Corsica and Sardinia and its islands.

We also offer yachts from Genoa & La Spezia for the discovery of the Ligurian coast. From Naples and Salerno to explore the Amalfi coast & the Islands of Capri and Ischia. On the north coast of Sardinia we offer 2 bases; Portisco on the east side & Alghero on the west. For the wonderful & relatively undiscovered Aeolian Islands you can take a boat from Vibo Valentia on the Mainland or Messina in Sicily.

And now we have bases in the Adriatic coast, including Croatia and Greece.

Where to go

Have a look at our maps and itineraries

Villa in Tuscany ?

Perhaps you might charter one of our yachts, and then, with your enviable suntan, unique to sailing, spend a further week or 2 with friends in a villa in Tuscany or Umbria, perhaps visiting the historic towns of Siena, San Gimignano, Todi, Volterra, Florence, Perugia, Assisi and Orvieto, or nip down to Rome for a day.

     Porto Ercole

For a weekend ?

Easy places to sail to for a weekend include Giglio, Giannutri, Elba...and Capraia if you have a long weekend.

Some weeks ?

If you have one or two weeks to sail, or even a month, then why not wrap in a trip round these islands with a trip round the extensive possibilities of NW Corsica, or NW Sardinia and S Corsica. Some of the most beautiful and secluded bays and beaches to be found in Europe.

Salivoli

Punta Ala

       Punta Ala

Further south ?

With a two week cruise, Cala Galera is also a great starting point for exploring all points south down through the Pontine islands, Ponza, Ventotene and through to Ischia, Procida and Capri.

In addition to our bases for the Tuscan archipelaga/Corsica/Elba/Sardinia, down to the bay of Naples and the Amalfi coast, we are adding new bases in Sardinia, the Eolian Islands and Sicily. The beautiful Eolian islands are not well known outside Italy, and one gets the feeling the Italians like it that way. Contact us for details.
