Sail-Italy We are a yacht charter operator, specialising in Italy, aiming to reveal the private delights of yachting in Italy to the sailing cognoscenti in the rest of the world. We operate our own boats and we market yachts belonging to our associates. We have several current vacancies created by the expansion of our operation.

• sales assistants Part time, Cambridge based, Charming and enthusiastic person needed to deal with international customers and prospects. The job is to find out what enquirers need, find the right boat for them and set up the charter. During slack order periods, to help us to make international alliances, and keep the website and company documentation up to date. Will need to have regular contact with our partners and employees in Italy. Training provided. Interest in yachts/yacht chartering essential, and some sailing experience a pre-requisite. Experience with computers, internet, email and excel essential. Most of all though, an excellent communicator with attention to detail and follow up. Flexible hours. Pay and rewards: Hourly salary plus free long weekends in Mediterranean, plus bonus on sales.  Send us your CV  
• skippers you must be able to speak English and Italian, have excellent knowledge of the waters on the Western side of Italy,  be a naturally charming and considerate person aged 25+, and be available in the sailing season especially from June to August.  You should be able to teach others, understand yacht electrics and mechanics, be a good group leader, well organised, calm, prepared to help at everything, effective at taking decisions under pressure, and good fun.     Send us your CV and tell us about your experience and qualifications.

• yacht maintenance engineer based in Cala Galera in Southern Tuscany (map), with good understanding of diesel engines, yacht repair, winterising. Training provided for qualified vehicle mechanics. Must speak Italian, be prepared to be flexible and work efficiently during changeover periods, especially at weekends from March to November.  Could be merged with skipper role.  Send us your CV
